Mr. Apple has extensive experience as a scholar, mentor and music coach. He has served on the faculties of Wayne State University, Principia College, Webster University, Lindenwood College, and the University of Missouri – St. Louis. He has worked privately with select students who exhibit the passion, drive and demonstrate the potential to succeed. Mr. Apple does not take short cuts in his teaching. He uses the highly successful old world European methods. He is not a Suzuki method teacher nor does he promise “quick, easy stardom”, but rather guides with compassion while helping each student become the best musician he or she can be. Please note that Mr. Apple is a DRUG FREE performer. Specifically, he is opposed to the use of the so-called “performance enhancing” beta blocker Inderal.
